First, install new drivers to your ACAD directory, by INSTALL, and
select "AutoCAD v2".
1. Change to your AutoCAD directory and type "DS86" to install driver.
2. Enter the AutoCAD Main Menu by typing "ACAD".
3. Select option 5 to configure AutoCAD.
4. Select option 3 ("Configured Video Display").
5. Choose "ADI Display Vx" for your new video display,
and set the hexadecimal interrupt (default=7Ah).
6. Follow the directions to complete your AutoCAD configuration.
7. Save your changes, back to main menu.
8. Start to work with your AutoCAD.

*. ADI v2 supports ACAD/v2.x or above.

First, install new drivers to DRV Subdirectory under your
ACAD R12 directory by INSTALL, and select "AutoCAD/R12".
1. Make sure the AutoCAD works fine with VGA.
2. Begin AutoCAD with the reconfigure switch by typing
ACAD -R
3. Select option 3 ("Configured Video Display").
4. Type Y at the "Do you want to select ..." message to
display the available video options for AutoCAD.
5. Select "Avance GUI-ULTRA ADI v4.2 32-Bit Display List, by
Avance Logic".
6. Select display resolution you want.
7. Follow the directions provided by the ACAD program to complete
your AutoCAD configuration.
8. Save your new changes.
(Now, you complete re-configuration )
9. The AutoCAD will start.

your 3DS, select the mode you want to run at your system.

1) Select (1) "Set graphics options" from Main Menu.
2) Choose (1) "Select graphics device" from Set Graphics Options.

3. Load driver, by type AC16 or AC256 under CADKEY directory.
4. Start CADKEY main program by CKGR.

First, install new drivers to your EASYCAD directory, by INSTALL, and
select "EASYCAD/2".
IMPORTANT: ECAD V.2.7x requires 1MB of EMS memory to support high
resolution graphics modes like 1024x768, see ECAD manual
for more information.
1 Copy the desired resolution driver into file name "DSDRV.BIN".
(See below note for detail resolutions)
Example: COPY DSA1024.BIN DSDRV.BIN
2 Run ADJUST.EXE to reconfigure environment, and select "2"
for display driver.
3 Press [Enter] for "Display aspect ratio is set to: 84/98"
(default).
4 Press [Enter] for "Small or Large prompt text (S/L)" (default).
5 Complete the rest parts of configure environment.
6 Last, save new changes, you will get a message:
"Installation completed successfully".
7. Start EASYCAD main program by typing "ECAD".

FRAMEWORK/III

First, install new drivers to your FW/III directory, by INSTALL, and
select "Framework III 1.x".
1. Run Framework/III' SETUP.
2. Choose 2, "All other users of the setup program."
3. With two floppy drivers, insert "SYSTEM DISK 2"
into Drive B and select option 1;
From single floppy-drive system,
insert the disk into Drive A and select option 1;
Otherwise, choose option 2. (from hard drive)
4. Select 2 to CONFIGURATION.
5. Choose 1 to select the PRIMARY HARDWARE configurations.
6. Enter 1 to indicate that you want to select the Screen Driver,
and 7 for "I want to enter my own driver file name".
Then enter the name of the driver you want to use.
{ See NOTE:Table lists the available FW/III driver names. }
7. Type "M" to return to the main menu.
8. Type "7" to save all your settings.
9. You will be prompted to insert the "SETUP Disk" into Driver A.
Do not insert the SETUP Disk; instead, please insert
the GUI-Ultra Utility Diskette, since your new drivers are located
on the GUI-Ultra Utility Diskette.
Press the space bar when you ready.
10. Save new configuration,
Choose option "1" if running FW from your floppy drive,
option "2" if you are using a hard disk drive.
Strike any key to exit to DOS once you have made your choice.
eg: Configuring for 132x60-column Display, to choose
the driver for 132x60-column display for the
screen format and 800x600 for the "zoom" function,
type: AF231.SC [Enter]

1. Insert the GEM/3 System Master Disk into drive A and type:

2. Now re-install GEM/3. Place the GEM/3 System Master Disk
in drive A and type:
A:\> GEMSETUP or GEMPREP [Enter]
3. Select CHANGE EXISTING CONFIGURATION.
4. Choose OTHER (DRIVER PACK), for a screen driver choice.
When prompted to insert the driver pack disk into drive A,
insert the newly created disk, and
select "CONTINUE".
"WAIT" message will be displayed on screen.
5. Select the resolution you wish to install as:
A. GUI-Ultra 800x600/16 colors display
B. GUI-Ultra 1024x768/16 colors display (required 512KB)
C. GUI-Ultra 768x1024/16 colors display (required 512KB)
D. GUI-Ultra 1280x1024/16 colors display (required 1MB)
6. And complete the installation procedure.

3. Select "Install" from the Main menu.
5. Select "Advanced options" from the Install menu.
6. Select "Add new driver to library" from the Advanced Options menu.
7. Select "Modify current driver set".

3. Install file from the GUI-Ultra Utility Diskette.
eg. COPY a:\WS WS132 [Enter]
4. Modify WordStar to work with 132x25 text mode,
type: MAKEWS 13225 WS132.COM [Enter]
5. Run VMODE to select the video mode you want to display.
( For example, you can select 132x25 mode. )
6. Go to your WordStar directory and run WordStar Rel.3
by typing: WS132 [Enter]
2) WS Release 4

1. Go to your WordStar Professional Release 4 directory, and
start WordStar's installation program by
typing: WSCHANGE [Enter]
2. Type WS.EXE as the filename of your WS program file,
and type WS132.EXE as the filename for new changes.
3. Select option A for "Console options".
4. Select option A for "Monitor options".
5. Select option C for "Screen Sizing".
6. Select option A for "Height" at the Screen Sizing Menu,
then enter the desired value for the screen format
(i.e. 25, 30, 43 or 60).
7. Select option B for "width" at the Screen Sizing Menu
and enter the value (i.e. 80 or 132).
8. Save your new changes (by typing a series of X's).
9. Run VMODE to select the extended video mode.
( match with you selected rows and columns. )
10. Start WordStar Release 4,
by typing: WS132 [Enter]
NOTE

Follow the steps when you run WordStar each time:
1. Run VMODE to set the desired text mode.
2. Type "WS" or "WS132" to start WordStar.
3. Exit from WordStar, type "VMODE V3" to standard VGA display.
You may put above line into a batch.

This program demos GUI-Ultra VIDEO functions.

If your favorite applications are not showed up here, you may
1) Check if the application program allows you to re-configure
new display format, such as WordStar 4,..., etc.
2) Check VESA driver(s).
3) Call the software publisher and ask for new driver(s) to
support GUI-Ultra series display.
4) WP/4.2 for extended text display:

1. Run VMODE to select the extended text mode you selected
(i.e. 132 or 80 columns by 25, 30, 43 or 60 rows).
2. Enter the WordPerfect Setup menu.
By type: WP/S [Enter]
3. Select option 3, "Set Screen and Beep options".
4. Enter the values for column and row to match the values
you selected with the VMODE.EXE program.
5. Select option 0 to accept the new configuration and
enter WordPerfect (WP).
NOTE: *. Remember, when you exit from WordPerfect,
type "VMODE 3 [Enter]" at command line to back to
standard VGA 80x25 text display.
*. When running WordPerfect, you will need to type
"VMODE" and select options that matches the columns and
rows that you had set in your WordPerfect setup (WP/S).
*. Once you have configured WordPerfect, you need not
repeat steps 1 through 5 unless you want to change.
